Honesty, integrity and industry knowledge are core values at Code 3. Before entering the field all Code 3 Security officers are thoroughly screened and receive in depth training. Code 3 Security only employs officers who are licensed by the State of Utah. The local, state and federal background checks establish the minimum requirements for all of our field personnel. Once a guard is screened, they are trained in security performance procedures so they are prepared to professionally deal with nearly every type of situation that might arise. This training is initially conducted by an appointed trainer of an approved DOPL training program. Code 3 also provides additional training to prepare each guard for the Client’s they will serve. A 16 hour In house course will be conducted by the Qualifying Agent of Code 3. Field Training Officers (FTO) make random site visits during which additional training and job evaluations are conducted.
Code 3 has ongoing training programs and sometimes consults with other agency’s to enhance our programs. We have established alliances with other high quality security agencies and share our resources so that our knowledge and skills are developed on a regular, ongoing basis. It’s a pleasure to work with these agencies, share knowledge and develop ever higher levels of skill to the benefit of our clients. Code 3 is proud of our associations with these other fine companies.
Code 3 is a rule follower and the below mentioned is what “The Requirements and Standards that DOPL and Code 3 expect of all guards! DOPL can be found at www.dopl.utah.gov
